Wiercioch.

Next is a toss-up between Grant and JGP. After them I'd go Claesson, then Maidens

Wiercioch will win this in a landslide. Then I'm going Maidens, JGP.

Wiercioch, although it wouldn't surprise me if a guy like Wideman passed him on the depth chart this season.

Didn't Wiercioch finish 2nd in one of these a few years ago? His tumble has been pretty epic.

It more has to do with going from one of the worst to best prospect pools in the league over the last 2 years. Adding three 1st rounders in 2011 etc.

If Wiercioch didn't have one of the most horrific injuries in all of hockey last season, you can be asured that he wouldn't be below Jim freakin' O'Brien on this list. The guy is basically assured to be a NHL player down the line. We just don't know how good he's going to be yet.

On what planet? Petersson was leading the WJC in goal scoring at the same age and Wiercioch was a PPG defenseman in the WCHA. Both are in a class far ahead of Pageau in terms of skating ability. Petersson has also been tested vs. AHL and SEL competition and fared quite well.

Guy was a Hobey Baker candidate when he was 20. Got compared to Mike Cammaleri. He was a pretty legit prospect back then. Honestly, the guy had great talent, he just seems lazy. Had great numbers in the ECHL last season so we'll see if he can battle his way back up the depth charts.

This.

Caporusso was a real good prospect in college. Like FQL said he's either lazy or his game just didn't translate well to the AHL.

Same deal as Prince. Plays (played) for a Jr. Team close to (in) Ottawa.

Some of the people on this forum ridiculously overrate players that do that.

Karlsson's sure exceeding his 8.0B. Looking at the Hockeys Future page it has a 8.0 as a #2 defenseman, yet lists Duncan Keith in there. The next step is an elite talent, which has Lidstrom, Staal and Luongo in it. The 10 rankings are for generational talents.
