I don't know what they tell you about Northern Europe over there, but it's not quite that bad in Sweden

Blog will be up later today but just spoke with Joe Thornton who says he'll head back to Davos again to play in Swiss League.

http://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-lock...back-to-davos/
Based on that article, seems like Nash and Jumbo will be playing together this season after all...

Hope Jumbo doesn't chop Juicy's wrists when they face off.

He probably left right after the charity golf event.

Do they stream the swiss league games on any of those unmentioned sites? Could be fun to watch.

Per Pollak, sounds like Murray will be checking out tier-2 teams in Sweden to play with (as he can't play in elite league).

No it won't. Playing in the Swiss league is not playing in the NHL.

What? Logic? Get outta here...

I just want some damn hookey! Will be nice to see them play together for a bit, though.

The men in the middle (seem like they should/could be assigned/playing in AHL, but...):

  • Marek Viedensky (and he's on his ELS deal too)
  • Tim Kennedy
  • John McCarthy
  • Frazer McLaren
  • Matt Pelech
  • Nick Petrecki
  • Brandon Mashinter
  • James Sheppard

Too much NHL experience for gentlemen's agreement. (Even though he's lost two years)

Is there a list where Shark player destinations are being tracked?

Thornton: HC Davos
Couture: Genève-Servette HC
Demers: Oulun Kärpät
Marleau: LOL, no

Sharks CBA FAQ with information about refunds, etc. can be found here.

Basically any games missed will be paid back on a month-by-month basis.
