That 2nd and 3rd assist by Jumbo on Nash's goals were pretty sweet.

Looks like they're playing against a bunch of midgets. Holy hell on the uniform adverts. What's with guys from the same team wearing different color lids?

It's the top scorer jersey. The top scoring player from the previous season gets a special helmet and jersey.

Very close, but not entirely true. It's always the team's current top scorer who gets this special helmet and jersey.

Both those goals by Nasher were beauties. What a statement by these guys to put up 8pts together in their first game.

I still wish Nash was on our team. I don't really know for who but would've loved to have him here.

A statement that even now in 2012, David Aebischer can't hide from being scored upon.

Mhm but my point that these two guys coming to the Euro league and dominating is still valid. The team has 20 players and these two combined for 8 pts.

Hey, at least you knew it has something to do with the team's top scorer. About 99% of the people outside of Switzerland have literally NO clue what these jerseys and helmets mean.

Havlat Lock Out Quote via agent

Where he says "players are meat" as viewed by some owners.

Wonder how current ownership will view this. IMO, i'd think Havlat was not referring to the Sharks in this way as i do not think Management treats players like "meat".

I love how on the first Nash goal he sounded fairly bored then exploded when Nash scored.

He only wears it when they make him. He also jacked his visor straight up for Olympic games so it pretty much just covers his forehead.

Quick Q. I've got him in a keeper league. What are his expectations going into this season? (assuming there is one ofcourse) Where type of roll(s) will he be playing on the blueline?

Appreciate any help/insight. Cheers.

I think the Brad Stuart signing blocks Demers from really taking a bigger role on the club this pending season--it could potentially hurt his PP time as well. From a purely fantasy perspective, I think you've kind of seen the immediate ceiling (there's still room for progress, but he continues to be sheltered which worries me considering last season was his 3rd) unless injuries stack up.

From just a hockey perspective, I've seen a lot of growth in his game. And I like what he can bring to the team, I just don't think opportunity is in his favour for the next few seasons.

If it was allowed, Thornton would probably play without a lid.
