Sharks defenseman Justin Braun has left Finland and is returning to North America after fracturing a bone in his hand.
If a miracle happens and a new CBA is signed the Sharks defense might not look so great as I believe Burns is still not skating either.
Vlasic/Boyle, Stuart/Demers would still be a good Top 4. Good opportunity for some of the young defenseman in Worcester to get a shot. Too bad Petrecki is also hurt right now.

The injury bug continues to bite the d-men in the Sharks org...
Matias Strozyk @MaStrozyk
Jason Demers out for at least 3 weeks after a slash on his wrist in the #SpenglerCup final. Kärpät must be happy, #SJSharks even happier.
Literally though, we have Boyle, Vlasic, Murray, and Stuart healthy if a season starts soon. And Acolatse is injured in Worcester, along with Petrecki as potential call-ups.

Any updates on Burns? I imagine he's ready to play, just not 100%. No reason to rush anything when there is no season, but if it were to start, I'd assume he'd start skating again. His injury wasn't really major, so it's hard to think that he'd be out for half the season if it started in October.

Has anyone heard what the injury was? I'm not aware of Burns skating since the Captain skates in September. So if he has been out that long, I'm guessing it's pretty serious.

No clue, but until something comes out saying he's ready to play, I'm going to assume the worst.
