Burns looks hilarious! Pelech has a good one but it won't outdo last years.
Love seeing Thornton's expression. Man wants to get this team over the hump.
Bobby Mac reporting a bunch of players on waivers (for assignment to the minors). Noteworthy for the Sharks are Bracken Kearns, Pelech, and McCarthy.
Not a whole lot of note across the rest of the league. Derek Joslin on waivers for the Canucks. Henrik Karlsson for the Flames, Steve Zalewski for the Devils, Benn Ferriero for the Penguins. And the Oilers have 07 1st rounder Alex Plante on waivers too.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel jaded after last season. I won't be so naive to pump them as cup favs, but I'll hold some blind faith anyways. The season still has to be played.
And if they crash and burn... maybe it will set the required changes (whatever they may be) in motion.
im guessing burns had something to do with evaluations by the coaches, he is probably fit to play, just a little behind everyone else and will not play in the opener.
