Sharks were actually discussed on today's (2/1) episode of Around The Horn on ESPN. I was at a sushi bar and saw it and was like "HOLY CRAP" (and I had a Sharks sweatshirt of course).
A little cheering up for Sharks fans ... NHL.com today has a video collection called "delicious dishes" which of course features The Pass. I have to say I think the dallas broadcast version may be my favorite because of the announcer's reaction. "Are you kidding me with that pass??"

I don't get Mclellan's reasoning with lineups...
He's giving an AHL callup every chance to succeed yet it looks like he's trying to make Havlat and Galiardi fail.

It's because Havlat has a ginger beard and we all know McLellan hates gingers while Galiardi eats cheerios without milk and well that's just a clear sign that he cannot be trusted and is probably a serial killer.
I don't feel like typing everything out, but Tmac's success as a head coach is all smoke and mirrors. With the lineups he's been handed since his first year with the Sharks it would have been shocking if he didn't make the playoffs every year. He was supposed to get them over the hump, not maintain the status quo.
I don't think it shows how desperate he is, more-so how much he plays favorites. For some reason, Havlat and Galiardi are in his doghouse just like Demers was last season.
Has this been discussed yet? No tennis trips after this one!
A bit. It's been cancelled due to lack of interest. Don't be surprised if SVSE tries and find some other way to fill the coffers and cause us to have a long road trip.

Really. Pickles is faster than Braun, Demers and Boyle?
Well, the last couple games I managed to watch, it kind of sseemed like Boyle has lost a bit of his speed but it does seem unlikely that Vlasic is faster right now. Then again, maybe Vlasic just never needs to use his speed.
