The fact that pascal dupuis makes less money then him is laughable

Really wanted this guy on the Rangers. He has high skill level and is a great reclamation project. Hopefully for the Panthers, he rediscovers his game like Justin Williams.

Exactly the type of move the Panthers need to make. He's a quality player who needs a team with a position available for him to showcase his skills.

If he gets hurt, the Panthers can try and fill the roster with prospects. If he stays healthy they have a step-up on retaining him. Without the signing the Panthers have to rely on players remaining healthy or rookies making significant contributions,w which isn't ideal for a team trying to remain in the playoff picture.

No real downside for anyone.

I won't be bashing him. I actually really like Peter and enjoyed his run in colorado after the trade. Can't say that about most phx fans. There's big time hate for him Turris and Wheeler around our parts.

I went through this thread, as short as it is righ now, and expected some comment like "with Mueller in, now the Panthers can afford to trade forward X in the Luongo trade"...

Anyways, I always liked Mueller and hope he does well in Florida.

Great. Florida is my #2/#3 team. Loved them bringing in Fleischmann and love this, too. Hope he tears it up you Cats fans.

Funny how two players that were traded for each other (Meuller, Wolski) signed on the same day.

It's not much money and only one year, but there's still a risk involved. Prior to the concussion issues Mueller was underachieving badly. His hot streak two years ago and his rookie season is about all anyone has to go on in terms of what his potential is. There are a lot of hurdles to overcome.

That said, I hope his head heals up and that he runs away with the Masterton. Florida seems like a good fit for him.

That isn't humorous or funny in any way. At all. Maybe Meuller is a little funny...

With one more or less replacing the other.

He hasn't really done much lately, even when healthy. But at least he's not on Booth's doomsday contract.

Remembering when he had a 70pt upside. Thinking far cry now. Cheers.

Good signing. I expected someone to take a bigger gamble on. Would have been a nice sleeper pick for a spot in the Rangers top six because, if he could get back to being healthy, he could have a great career still. Best of luck to him.

Agreed. It isn't low risk like everyone is saying, but it's still a good deal.
