Hockey History related blogs

Learning about hockey history and blogs are a nice way to do it because they're well written and contain pics/links fairly often. Here are the ones I've found so far, feel free to mention and I'll add them here.

Excellent blog updated regularly with lots of facts and tidbits as well as historic comparisons

Focuses on a lot of old hockey history pre-O6 (I find this era a bit boring tbh because of how messy it is) but it also does cool statistical comparisons

Lots of write-ups on old players original six players honouring them and lots of historic Leafs info

A subsection of the Backhand Shelf blog not updated as often but my favourite one in terms of how it's a bit general and has a good writing style. The author became a hockey fan post-lockout so she shares what she's learned as she goes along which I like. She also has a past blog called theoryofice (which includes a list of legendary hockey games but unfortunately many of those aren't or have been removed from public youtube).

This one mixes present and past hockey stuff, focuses on a lot of random aspects and obviously Canadian oriented

That's funny - that's exactly why I find it so interesting!

Glad you like what parts of it you like, though.
