Voted Dumont again. Imho he'll be an NHLer which is unlikely at best for all of the remaining choices.

Avtsin, add Berger.

It's tight between Pribyl, Avtsin, Nattinen, Nash and Pateryn for me. Was a tough choice.

Those are all wild cards, but they all deserve to be 15-20ish, imo. We just added so much depth. What I like about having that many projects is that every year, you get one or two guys that were ranked very low that comes out of nowhere (well, not totally) and rises to the top. With the depth we have, I like our chances of seeing that happening.

Of course, the opposite will very likely happen (highly ranked prospect who struggles and falters down the depth chart). But with the amount of highly skilled prospects that we have, I like our chances of getting a few NHLers out of that list.

Hmm... No votes for Nygren yet, and he's possibly the best defenseman right now among the group.

I could easily see Didier play in the NHL one day. He's already got NHL size and strength, plays a good physical game and looks solid in his own end/PK. He is a long term project but there's no doubt he should be a top 20 prospect for the Habs.

Trunev hasn't done much of anything in Russia, but he is signed for 2 years now so highly unlikely we see him anytime soon, would not have him anywhere near the top 20.

A slapshot is more than raw potential and wasting a year of development in prep school. From what I hear Sullivan barely is a hockey player at this point.

I don't think Nygren will ever play in North America though.

What is that supposed to mean??

I wouldn't rank Nygren at all as he is a brutal d-man. He may very well max out as a PP specialist in the SEL.

Well I mean he was drafted because he's a great skater, which makes him a perfectly valid prospect to be fair, but I hear he has little hockey sense. Right now Nygren might not much but he already has a role in professional hockey, Sullivan is nothing but potential.

It was a nice pick for sure but I really don't like how he played last year in prep school and not the USHL or whatever.

For what it's worth, I could see Sullivan as a bigger version of Chris Campoli..which would be better than Nygren at this point.
