The guy's intelligent and open minded -- that goes paired, I believe.
It prooves that it makes a big difference when amateur sports leading to pro sports are played in schools (University).
Of course, the majors U sports (Football, basketball) are cheating by allowing their stars to have poor scholar results, but I'm sure it is not as evident for a secondary sport like soccer.
Canadian hockey will have very few of these gentlemen with its junior hockey being played outside schools. I mean, the best players often quit school at 17 years old... No wonder the interviews are boring.
Thanks for that link. Better thread than almost anyone we can read these days of summer.
Smart guy.. Thats what Jesse said off the bat after drafting him.
He also mentionned that the only reason he wrote the "blog" was because he still has some school work to finish (He only joined the MTL Impact full time probably two months ago after completing his session with Duke.). Wenger also said that there would be more to come.
Here's what he had to say about it. He was the right guy to take at #1 Overall. No way Mattocks would of have done that
