McCown should not talk hockey, he's fine on baseball and football. I don't mind his interviews because it's the only part of his job he approaches in a serious and professional manner. However, 99% of his show is garbage.
I don't live in Toronto and so I could care less about Toronto's Mayor your point is moot.

Also McCown I listen to because he talks about a variety of interesting subjects. I rarely listen to his show for hockey. I mean I like to hear his opinions on hockey subjects but it's not the main reason I tune into his show.

Also if you think 99% of his show is garbage then you need some perspective in life.

Cybulski is in the same class of radio broadcaster as Greg Brady = unlistenable.

LMAO at anyone who thinks Sam & Ted are anywhere near Bob McCown's league. Every single time i have turned those 2 lameass hacks on i ended up turning them off.

Professional athletes...musicians...rock bands...actors...broadcasters...the common factor is that younger generations sorely lack talent compared to the greats of years gone by.

Tim and Sid were awesome on the Score. Haven't had a chance to listen to their new show, but I'm sure it's good.

McCown I don't really have an issue with. He's not great, but not terrible. He is listenable.

Speaking of the Score, since Tim and Sid left that network has been terrible. I agree with whoever said Cam is the WOAT. I have no idea what they were thinking when they hired that clown.

Cybulski always reminded me of..

I like Brady and Lang despite some of Brady's Detroit bias.. Mccowon is probably the best and most connected but Mike Richards is the most entertaining in TO sports radio.

Tim and Sid are solid as well, and the Score has certainly gone to **** with them and Cabbie gone. The Basketball Jones/Courtsurfing guys that replaced them are brutal. And even though it was a ********* gambling bet show the Cam/Gabe Morency show was entertaining(I think Gabe got fired for being baked all the time)

I end up listening to him every once in a while, but I don't care for him, and usually always disagree with what he is saying

Typical. The delusional fan labeling himself as a realist.

I would have to think only McCown cheerleaders would use his Sam and Ted joke trying to pump his show.

As for the first part, people are just tired of the same old argument. The 'trolls' are generally the ones who never have anything positive to say and use their 'opinion' as 'fact'. They also tend to use other fanbase opinions as 'proof' of their 'facts' as if the opinion of a bunch of people on a message board matters any more than theirs.

The term does get thrown around a lot, however I've had some very good debates with some who have been labeled as such.
Guys who hate Bob Mac....just don't understand radio. He is a good broadcaster. He often says outlandish things to stir it up...be controversial. He is not a "hockeypuck" as he calls those who are hockeycentric. He is smart however, and entertaining. He knows sports. He is definitely not the best hockey analyst...by a long shot. His show is the most professional...His co-hosts are amongst the best in the biz, IMO and he is vastly entertaining to listen to. A good broadcaster.

As far as your opinion on trolls ....I laugh. Basically, you think that your "rose colored glasses" views are presented as fact as much as anybody elses so I wouldn't go there. As far as saying positive things....what do you expect. Have you not been watching this dismal team since the lockout? Why should fans be satisfied with whats been going on? To be honest...I really couldn't give a crap about Phil Kessels goal totals or point totals when the team has sucked as bad as they have.
I don't care about the fanbases perceived Burke trade fleecings when the results show the team is bottom 10.... What does any of that even mean?

Had Lupul stayed healthy, the Leafs may have had two top 10 scorers for the first time in a very long time. But who cares when the team finishes 24th?

Obviously everything Burke has done hasn't been great but he has done some good things. But to be completely satisfied with the work the GM has done would be mind boggling considering the lack of some very critical pieces, lack of team toughness (when the GM has been vocal about the need for it) and poor finishes. The team really needs to show some progress this year, then perhaps you will see some more positive reviews.

In other words, perhaps positive reviews/opinions are earned and not simply blindly granted. Fans need to see some tangible results.

He's annoying on his own, but when he has a guest on I usually listen in. Well, hockey ones anyways.

Isnt Cam Wooley that fat former cop always on CP24, warning people about driving safely to cottage country along the 400?

And that's my point exactly. You don't speak for all fans, hell you don't even speak for the majority. YOU need to 'see tangible results', not 'fans'.

If you truly do not care if Kessel scores ppg or Burke wins a trade, then don't read it. Go start a thread on why it doesn't matter.

As for satisfaction, giving credit where credit is due does not mean one is satisfied with the team. I'd love to have RNH, Hall , Eberle on this team, despite the fact that their team is terrible. Life is not black and white.

McCowan is brilliant. He has told his audience that the Leafs will suck every year since the lockout. He also has never predicted the jays either. He knows his stuff. Doesn't buy into the BS and hype. He sees the reality of it. I listen to him every day. Love it!

So if the Leafs make it this year, will you stop listening to him?

For the record, I have predicted every week since I was 19 that I wouldn't win the lottery, dude I'm a genius!

Can people please be clearer than "Bob Mac" when were talking about Cybulski and Company?

The co-host is Bob Mackowycz.
They routinely interview TSN Insider Bob McKenzie.
And there is a rival sportscaster Bob McCowan.

"Bob Mac" could be any one of them.
