I haven't been following the current developments, not sure how far apart the 2 sides are.

Just wondering what you guys think.

50-50, but there's only a 10% chance of that.

Reminds me of the scene in Anchorman; "60% of the time, it works every time."

90% chance the season starts at least a month late.

I need to see the NHLPA response first.

Then Bettman deserves a punch to his slimy face. I don't care about Fehr and the players, it is Bettman's responsibility to have the season start on time.

With a 35% chance that the season is lost.

Why are people being so pessimistic about this? It's far too early to tell right now.

I expect the season to be cancelled...so when it does start I won't be disappointed.

All the talking heads are speculating the season to be starting in December.

I think about 5% chance season is cancelled. Some media outlets are reporting that they may play through this season with existing CBA while negotiating in the background. I also think that if the above doesn't work then we will have a new CBA by late November.

Wrong. It's Bettman's responsibility to negotiate a deal that is to the liking of his bosses, the owners.

Season won't be cancelled but might be delayed. Altough I think there won't be no lockout, too much money is at stake. Plus I can't live a whole year without hockey

Season gets cancelled? Come on guys think realistically...hockey is going to be cancelled as a sport FOREVER as a result of this epic confrontation between NHLPA and Bettman (AKA cancer). Curling will become Canada's new national sport

Back before training camp ends. There is no appetite for another stoppage, the 50/50 revenue split is now a precedent, everything else will fall in line. Of course the first NHL proposal asks for the moon, and the Players response will be equally as ambitious. That's how every labour negotiation in history starts, I fail to see why this is worrisome at this point.
