The last we heard he was provisionally clear. Doesn't mean it was made official last night.

For the official announcement and subsequent press conference? . . ?

Until I hear Roc and Manuch confirm this.. I'm not buying what you're selling. You're the only person to report this.

Sorry.. I was definitely hopeful but there have been alot of bs'ers on HF about this. Plus you have no location and only 50 posts.. You could've been a QC troll.

Carry on then

If the reporters are correct and this is happenning, my wife will have to take the kids out for a walk or something, because Dad will be weeping like a child at the kitchen table; followed by a trip to moosemeister's for the big shindig!

Hopefully we will hear more as the day progresses.

Have Roc and Manuch ever been correct about anything?

Anyway, I have no idea why Jamison would need to be here to 'try and close the deal'. Isn't the CoG out of the picture at this point? The only thing to close is the sale between Bettman / Daly and the Jamison group right?

Roc broke Jamison as the potential owner last year or whenever the hell that was. Time flies in this epic saga.

Yeah they have. Weren't they the first to report that Jamison was interested? Weren't they the first to report he was the front-runner? Of course their delivery was AWFUL! They kept claiming there was BREAKING NEWS! and it was the same old crap they'd already said. They took a ton of heat during that time because Jamison wouldn't confirm anything or even respond to requests for statements. It wasn't until he actually went on television for FOX10 news that he officially confirmed his interest, IIRC. He wasn't officially made the front runner by the NHL until that ridiculous press conference during the post-season. However, I'd say Roc and Manuch were correct all along. Half cocked as they were.

FYI I think half season plans go on sale to the general public tomorrow (got mine during a re-up period). Prices are:

$59 each for the lower level
$40 each for upper centers
$23 each for upper ends

If you can afford the more expensive seats, then please call Greg Jamison to ask to join his group asap! And once you join, try and change the pricing plans. Basically, their strategy is all of the lower level is one price and all of the upper level is one price. If you make the lower ends a little bit more cheaper like it use to be, you might get more people spending money to move from the upper level....my rant is ending now.
