Florida could spare a goalie since Markstrom seem NHL ready while Clemmensen is signed and could do the good job as starter if needed.

at 1 500 000$ for 1 years, Theodore is the perfect affordable, proven, stop gap goalie.

What could be your best offer for him?

Not much. Makes sense for the leafs to acquire a veteran goalie to split time with Reimer or Scrivens but it doesn't make sense to give much up for him.

Theodore has a NTC and has made it no secret he plans on retiring in Florida which makes this thread pointless. Do your research OP.

I think its fine, Florida probably would accept an offer even if its not much. If ''is not much'' is the best offer Florida could find around the entire NHL, i think Florida should consider it.

Theodore is probably not in their long term plan. I think Clemmensen/Marstroms will gave them better goaltending than Reimer/Scivens.

So Toronto have more use for Theodore than Florida.

I completely forgot about his NTC, you are completely right!

And indeed it make this thread pointless.

Well, its time for me to sleep after a sleepless night! If we can close this thread, its fine by me.
