Just because it was the best goal I have ever seen live.... I am sure lots of you were there too, still gives me goose bumps. Bob may forget names but this was a great call!

Fun game to be at.

The fans were great, even when the team was down on the scoreboard.

Absolutely. When Michalek scored the 1st goal, the arena turned into a complete madhouse. I'll never forget how the crowd was standing for an entire tv timeout, clapping and cheering. Just amazing and I'm very grateful to have experienced such an incredible game.

10 pounds of muscle and cheesecake

Good news though, that should help him quite a bit next year

Oh so you went to the Bell Center for a pre-season game?

My first ever playoff game was that game, what a way to start. My buddy and I absolutely freaked out when they scored. Needless to say my voice was not in tip top shape the day after.

Awesome. He's definitely primed to be one of the bigger breakouts in the league next season.

Amazing game to be at, the electricity in the building and excitement around the team was unparalleled probably on the same level or a notch below SCF Game 3.

Was an ugly start, boys kept battling like they had done all season and the OT intermission was quite tense but than then SBP just exploded.

And yeeeeah sick sick shot by Turris! Thinking next season he fully breaks out.

My favourite part of the goal is the fact that it was you could see so clearly that it went in. Often times when someone scores, there's a 0.3 second delay before you either see the net bulge or the player's jumping reaction before you can celebrate, usually because you don't see the puck as it's going through the goalie.

On this goal, you see the puck going straight in, in plain sight, and a beautiful shot too. All overtime goals should be this pretty.

Yeah that game will go down as one of the more thrilling ones in Ottawa, or at least the ending anyway.

I was with a buddy at our seats in 312 D, which is pretty much the corner on the visitors bench side, so the goal happened at the other end. It was quite something to see the crowd and white towels erupt down at that end a split second before the rest of the arena.

I put the poor gentleman beside me in one of the tightest hugs he's probably even had haha.

That video is even better. Places you right there in the crowd and you really sense just how crazy it went. No panning with the camera all over the place and Bob Cole blabbing on.

With with 3 buddies in section 309 Row A just a few over from you. The building all pretty much erupted at the exact same time in unison and everyone just started going nuts. Me and my friend were jumping up and down in the aisles with two other guys and banging on the board below the seats like mad men. Oh what a memory

This is where someone enters the thread and says we should have kept Rundblad.

There I did it.

I've been at some awesome Sens playoff games, including the inception of the "Alfie Alfie" chants, as well as game 4 of the SCF (we lost, but almost made a wicked comeback...damn post!!), but the atmosphere at that game was easily the best I had ever experienced.

I'm really looking forward to watching Turris progress.

Unreal game to be at, by far the best experience I've ever had. The crowd was absolutely electrifying, I get chills every time I watch that goal.

The crowd seemed to be backing the team like never before and really believing something special could happen with that team, it wasn't just a slogan on the towels.
It was so unexpected having all that success and I think the whole fan base was on such a ride watching the young kids develop right before our eyes and see the team gel. It also officially started the real buzz around the city for Turris. Everyone knew he was good and had potential, but for the 20,000 coming out the game who saw that shot, the things people were saying how much they were raving was unreal.
