Don't know if I'm allowed to post this and if I'm not, my apologies to the mod's and delete but a buddy of mine who played in the WHL told me he's hearing Luongo in a possible trade for P. Kane and either crawford or emery.

This is just a rumour but I know this guy still has some good buddies in the Dub and NHL.

Hoping this is true.

Maybe this is the Pierre Gauthier effect

If you think Canucks fans have it bad, imagine being a Columbus fan.

Shows you how many gullible people there are.

He's been promising bullcrap if he gets [INSERT NUMBER] of followers, and is one of those people that doesn't say a thing when he gets stuff wrong, and wont shut up if he gets something right (by copying info from a real insider).

It's pretty sad when BS'ers like this guy are able to get a strong foothold. Noise does not equal credibility.

The sad thing is that his followers number has gone up since strombone tweeted him.

I remember when Dreger tweeted him saying one of his rumors was flat out false and that this was the only time he would be tweeting him, then Dreger blocked him.
Guy who cant spell Hockey Insider then got ******** and was hating on Dreger for such a long time. Very professional.

If the guy can't even be bothered to have a user handle that doesn't look like it was texted by a 15-year-old girl, I can't see why anyone should take him seriously.

I'd be content with Matthias, Shore and a pick at this point. But apparently all of Florida's prospects are surefire superstars so Shore might be too much.

How would Bolland look in a Canucks uniform?

Don't want him.
He hates the Canucks/Sedins and the Canucks/Sedins hate him.

Also, he isn't good at faceoffs (never had a FO% of 50% or higher). I'd like to have a 3rd line center who is decent at faceoffs, and not have to put Malhotra out for every 3rd line faceoff.

I want one of Hossa/Sharp/Kane. Hossa makes the most sense since his cap hit/contract length/age are nearly identical.

My takeaway was that teams are not yet making serious proposals, but rather proposals with poison pills (Bolland, Versteeg) that the Canucks couldn't accept.

If the owners' first proposal is as reported, it would make sense for any GM trading for Luongo to hold off until their is cap clarity. Nothing like making a trade in July that hamstrings your team under a new CBA come September (October? November? December 2013?)

Bolland would be a great fit. They're professionals, I'm sure the Sedins and whoever else hate him would welcome him as one of their own if he was traded to our team.

If we trading to the Hawks I want either Seabrook, Kane or Hossa coming back. If we are fixing one of there deficiencies we better be fixing one of ours.

Had a dream last night that Luongo was traded to Ottawa in exchange for Tomas Tatar (Red Wings prospect) and another prospect I can't remember. I have absolutely no idea why my subconscious brain produced Tomas Tatar of all people.

Tatar to Ottawa E4
Luongo to Ottawa E4

Honestly, I'd be first in line to buy a Pat Kane Canucks jersey. Such an entertaining player to watch for me, even when he was torching the Canucks at will.

But in reality, it doesn't make much sense.

Gillis is moving in the direction of size and grit. Committing to Doan to improve the Top 6 (which enough rumors suggest is his plan) makes more sense than doing the same with Kane and his 6.5 cap hit at a long term.

All things being equal, Bolland would be a nice return (add a few picks/prospects coming to us), assuming we were able to sign Shane Doan. Probably the best offer that's been reported so far anyways. But I think there would be less lockerroom disruption if we just kept Luongo (hell, keep him, call up Lack to be Schneider's backup and put Luongo in the press box...that's how much of a disruption Bolland would be).

That being said, if this is Chicago's first offer that bodes well for negotiations with them.

Higgins-Bolland-Hansen as a third line would kick all sorts of ass all over the ice, thats what a championship third line looks like. LoL@those of you not wanting good players just because they're on a rival. It reminds me of a bunch of you not wanting Ladd either because of his beef with Kesler.

These guys are multi-millionare athletes, their ''issues'' are under the bridge literally in seconds if they're on the same team.

Well, Gillis would need to talk to the team to make sure they would embrace Bolland here, and he would also need to talk to Bolland (very touchy situation when talking to a player who may or may not be traded...obviously would need permission from Bowman) to make sure he would be comfortable playing here.

Again, if we can sign Doan, our forward group would be amazing:

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Booth-Kesler-Doan
Higgins-Bolland-Hansen
Lapierre-Malhotra-Kassian

& you know this how? I'm sure the Sedins would be fine but look at Bolland's actions. He started crap in the Media for no other reason then to get a laugh at their expense. I have no doubt in my mind the Sedins would be mature enough to let some crap slide, Bolland on the other hand?

What about the media storm that comes out due to the fact our Coach has basically insinuated that Bolland is an ugly idiot who only a mother could love?
