Maybe he can bump Zigomanis off the top line in the AHL this year.

We've tried Bozak, it was ok with him but clearly needs improvement. We tried Connolly without him earning it... fail. We tried Lombardi without him earning it... fail. It can't hurt to use Kadri and he has much more potential than the others. I really hope he explodes with Gary Roberts and gets 45-50+ points this season as his breakout.

He did in the end, zigo was playing on the wings, while in PP he was playing center for faceoffs.

Kadri has to earn NHL employment, something those other players had done.

45-50 points would be good, but not good enough for a 1st. line center between Kessel and Lupul. Otherwise just go with the smarter Bozak.

I was saying 45-50 points in his first NHL season as breakout, then the following year he gets 70+ and consistently that much every year.

I think that would be good, but not good enough to be a 1st. line center.

So put him at center, 2nd. or 3rd. line and let him work his way up.

45-50 points is still an improvement from Bozak. Bozak had 47 points last season. I'm only basing this if we make no trades at all. I was saying first line so he gets his feet completely drenched and develops chemistry with Kessel and Lupul. But maybe he can start second line from start to mid-season to learn to play a little more defensively and then move up to first line during the second half of the season. I really hope he impresses at camp.

Let's hope he's learned enough in the minors to stay this time.

It is no panic if he's still deficient, he'll only 22 when the season starts.

This sums it up right here, but I would include Connolly on that list.
