If theres one, it probably will be like the one in 94-95, with a short season

Despite the extremes of the NHL proposal, we aren't seeing the confrontational style that characterized the last negotiation . . . yet. IMO, there is still hope.

I wouldn't answer the above poll because the best way to address it is to discuss it as the odds of a work stoppage. Right now, I would put it at 50/50.
Thanks, and yeah, i've still not voted, i'm holding out for the NHLPA offer. kinda wanted to see how it plays out first.

LS pointed the lockout/strike work stoppage poll specificity to me pretty shortly after starting the poll/thread open. i meant work stoppage, as a fan, it's whatevs, drop the puck already...?

i hope to not ever have to miss an entire season again for any reason.

Newt Jordan: Short season never seemed fair.

Anyone know when that offer is due?

I'm optimistic. That said, things do seem to have gotten off to a poor start.

With fehr involved, the proposals, and the feeling the ow.ers have about crushing the nhlpa last round im not so optimistic. I worry the owners feel too comfortable
