Yeah I would go with the latter, jets/giants fans are freakin obnoxious...

Yeah he is in Seattle. Just stated that as a point that it doesn't take Rodgers to succeed in Green Bay (like it did in Indy)

Not good. Now need 2 DBs.

"@salmaiorana: Terrence McGee just can't do much anymore. I don't see how he can make this team. Body has betrayed him. #billscamp"

So sad. He was a good player. Him and clements were a killer duo back in the day. Do u guys remember that 2004 defense? That D got blown up in one offseason.

McGee was the biggest reason they could afford to let go of Winfield. They knew they had a stud CB to step up.

Man, I really want McGee to be back and healthy because he's such a good CB, he reads plays well, tackles well...but if he can't make a go of it...

So we enter the season with Gilmore/Williams/McKelvin/Rogers/Brooks.

Right about now I'd like to have Drayton Florence back for that depth, unless there was a better option. Or we're gonna need Rogers and Brooks to really step up...but man that's a young CB corps. If the pass rush can't make it happen...

The article I read today said they're working him in slow but expect him to start...

I really like what I've heard about Rogers and I am confident Brooks will be a decent nickel back in time and hopefully by the start of the season. Would be nice to add a veteran for depth if McGee is indeed done, but if it meant having to cut Brooks I'd be ok with going into the season with this group of five.

Florence ever sign anywhere??? Word on the street was he wanted to end his career here. Think he would re-sign if offered? I was mystified that they released him over McGee.

Flo Rida....oh the irony. As much as I liked Drayton his play last year was as bad as Flo Rida's music.

You could say that again.....wait you already did.

I don't know who would be a good fit and is available that could do any better than these two. But I think you cut the guy that's been worse now and give someone else a chance before camp gets much later. Though I expect nobody will get cut until at least after the first preseason game.

Nelson picked up a leg bruise; Merriman's already being held out of practice. [LINK]

How bad is Thigpen that he's showing this badly in an offense he was familiar with BEFORE he came here.

It's still early. We'll see how they are by the first preseason game.

I think the concern with Merriman is any reciprocal strain on the achilles. I'm sure they will be extra cautious given his history.

Morrison should be cut. I'm fine with Moats in pass rush situations, but I'm really hoping Bradham wins it!
