Am I the only one shocked that it is football season again already on Thursday? That snuck on me big time.
It's amazing how Summer doesn't seem to be an endless cesspool of misery when the Pirates give you something to actually root for
“The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile, but that it is indifferent. If we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick
It is crazy. I was legitimately upset that I couldn't watch baseball on the off day
I've missed two games since getting my internet hooked up here about a month ago and have felt bored out of my mind on off-days. That's just unheard of for me. Even my peak Pirates interest tends to be about half of the games in April-June.
I actually ordered the month-to-month MLB.tv package this year because I was so used to just not using the service from August on...I'm quite happy to regret that decision.
Are the Steelers interested in Burress? On NFL.com under the "Latest Buzz" section in Free Agency, it says the Steelers are interested in Burress.

Players indicated the names on their jerseys also mean they will hold each other accountable to uphold the traditions of Penn State football, both on and off the field.
"We want our fans to know and recognize these young men," O'Brien said. "They have stuck together during tough times, and I commend them for the leadership they have shown. Moving forward, I'm deeply committed to honoring Penn State's traditions, while building a bright future for our football program."
And at the same time, members of the board of trustees are filing suit against the NCAA because of the sanctions and so are a number of former players. Even worse, in the players' letter, they use "Meaning no disrespect to the victims of abuse" in their plea to defend their football program from any type of "unfair" penalties.
Jesus Christ, never change PSU.
I can only imagine Bill O' Brien wishes he was still with the Patriots.
