DRC leaves his feet and hits Lefty in the face. He's fine but they don't throw the flag until Ben jumps onto the field.

the aforementioned injury was to David Johnson. Knee.

David Johnson...looked real bad.

And what a ridiculous hit. You have the QB in that position, there's no reason to do a wrestling move on him. We're lucky that Leftwich is so much bigger than DRC or else he's probably on the IR again.

The replacement refs looking like, well, replacement refs so far...but at least they're getting the calls right...they're just taking a while to do it and explaining themselves poorly. Why the hell did Philadelphia challenge earlier, exactly?

edit: Rainey...that was fun to watch.

Mike Adams has a knee injury now too.

Football injuries are way outta hand. You seriously can't get through two quarters of a game anymore.

I think the Steelers challenged the play, but the refs just said the wrong team.

And these refs are scared. They all kind of look at each other waiting for a call if something happens. NFL will have major issues if they go into the season with these guys.

always love seeing a big man on the pick-return.

Big Al Woods with the interception and 52 yard return.

redzone running is going to be a holocaust this year. [that's a lower-case h for all those keeping track at home].

Not quite worried about it. Chances of Baron Batch or Rainey carrying multiple times in the red zone are about 0.001%.

Yeah...and the Eagles know we're going to be running it in the red zone because it is the pre-season. Speed guys aren't of much use in this role.

But...yeesh...that looked like a clear horse collar.

Am I seeing **** or do Cortez and Will Allen not have any type of C or W on their uniform to differentiate them? They play the same position, are of similar builds, numbers are extremely similar, etc.
