Tommorrow's headline in the Post Gazette and Trib will be something to the lines of the d holding Peyton to only 255 yards and the offense not helping them out enough.

If I was an opposing offensive coordinator I don't think I would use a single run play against us. I definitely wouldn't huddle.

I don't know how anybody still calls us the number one defense.

We all will be supporting this team next week!

We'll see what this team does next week and for the season. We get Clark and Mendenhall back, maybe Harrison. Maybe this will be a wake up call for them. We got our ***** beat by the Ravens on opening day last year and went 12-4 so we'll see.

And the winner for best pittsburgh pirates impersonation is the steelers. If you're gonna go down, go down in flames.

New thread coming up because I'm not sticking around long enough to see this to 1,000. I'm drinking this one away and probably breaking some furniture.

The amount of hatred I have for that butthole that is Denver grows every day.

yinzer reaction-They held Manning to 250 yards. Leading rusher had 60 yards. NUMBER 1 DEFENSE, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO

Just like last year, low on total yards because of the time of possession and a complete lack of big plays.

I'll definitely keep supporting them. But this should be a team built around a strong passing offense. But that isn't "Pittsburgh Steelers Football"

Not lying, that's the worst Pittsburgh defense since 1988.

Like I said, we were facing Peyton. You were expecting shut down Peyton? He changed the plays all the time. He played us really well.

Peyton who hasn't thrown a pass in 21 months. Peyton who's neck is held together with gum and toothpicks. Peyton who is, for the first time in well over a decade, not surrounded by guys he's so used to throwing to that they basically shared a brain.

Shutting him down wasn't too likely because he's still Peyton and we already have a banged-up defense and didn't have Clark at our disposal...but at least putting up some resistance would have been nice. The Broncos, between the playoff embarrassment and this gem, have laid the groundwork on how to beat the Steelers defense. It goes without saying most teams won't have a QB as smart as Peyton to run it to perfection, but that idiot who can't even throw the ball properly did it in the playoffs.
