Haha probably. Until a few years down the road when everyone would decide they were sick of hearing about him and start calling him overrated.

The Oilers would have been way better off with Seguin in the lineup.
Actually, they are way better off with Hall, Nugent-Hopkins and Yakupov IEC. Hall will be better than Seguin... Seguin just landed himself on a Stanley Cup bound team.

in isolation i think seguin would've been better for the oil than hall.

but considering how edmonton went on to finish 30th and 29th (+lottery) after drafting hall, it worked out well for them in the end.

it sure did work out better for them, they got a better center than seguin and two better wingers.

Seguin will be better than Hall, Yakupov or RNH imo.

I too agree that having Seguin would've been better off for Edmonton. Seguin and RNH as your top 2Cs? Damn.

My prediction is that Seguin will be better than both Hall and Yakupov, but I think it could be close between RNH and Seguin.

Agreed. RNH is pretty sick.

I'll go with RNH over Seguin as well. Maybe Yak too.

I would prefer Hall. Just because Hall seems a little more dedicated. I have seen him around town working out with his dad. At the same time, I see pictures of Seguin getting drunk a lot.

Hall isn't perfect though. I was at a house party and Hall was on the road being noisey. A guy came out and told him and his friends to keep it down, Hall looks at him and says "I can buy your house with my signing bonus. Go back inside."

This was 2 weeks before the draft. He knew Edmonton was taking him.

I've heard Seguin is a cocky little jerk but I know he works his tail off. I also think Hall is just such a huge injury risk.

Hall is just as big of a jerk as Seguin. Gemel Smith was telling me how Hall had an exam that he didn't study for in school and he just signed the back of it and handed it in.

Yeah heard that as well. I dont think a player being a jerk is a big deal as long as he respects his teammates and works hard. By all indications Seguin does that, as does Hall.

I'll be voting, but the chances that EK wins that vote are slimmer than a runway model before fashion week.
