Think about that. Who did we draft? Jacob Anderson? Fat chance that he contributes as much as one of the best relievers in the MLB
Scott Downs is having the best year of his career and has contributed a whole 0.6 wins above replacement.

Frankly if you're going to complain about anything, how about the fact that Cordero was used ahead of Janssen as the closer in the first place?

Giving us a chance to get back in it for sure.

Although without Jose we have Fransico up next.

Hey if Vernon Wells and his $26 mil contract was still playing CF we would've hit a 5 run homer there

Cordero is not at replacement level. He is below it.

Like I said, fat chance that whoever we picked EVER contributes as much as Scott Downs. Brutal

Yep and Alex Rios would have driven in 13 runs tonight...

BJ Ryan could have closed it out...

Don't you guys think Buck Martinez has a very annoying voice? It just grates on my poor ears all game like a squeaky nail against a chalk board sound. He just rambles on and on like some annoying grandfather at a family dinner talking about the war. He's better than Jamie Campbell but that's not saying anything.

Hope Jose is ok that didn't look good.

So who is getting called up for tomorrow?

Thames, Gose, Sierra or Snider?

None of the above. They will all up Gomes and go with Francisco in right.

Pecking order:

Jim Hughson > Dan Shulman >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Buck Martinez >>>>>>>> Jamie Campbell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rob Faulds

At least my opinion of Jays broadcasters. Just wish CBC hadn't stopped doing games after 2008.

Buck Martinez is horrible. They shouldn't have former players doing PBP. The only former player that I know of that does a good job of PBP is Ken Singleton for the Yankees but even he does it only part time.
