i like how some internet nerds think they have it all figured it out better, than guys like Nolan...
He wasn't stopped, he turned himself in. I know this for several reasons, but I won't get into that, I may spoil it for some of you.

About the poster, I like it, it gives off exactly what the film will be about: Superman in a more grounded/realistic world. Looking forward to watching the trailer in 11 days.

he has weakness what i meant. some people saying its impossible to pull out a JL movie cuz hes an undestructible-alien who would have finished the Bruces Waynes enemies in two seonds.

while the context of the pic is not known, even if he turns himself in, its not so he leasves through a wall once he finished eating, cuz hes too damn powerful.......

Takeos your remark is pretty much what i meant....
people are already jumping to conclusions on a JL movie, when we havent even seen how the build this superman.

Hans Zimmer's late scores do sound very much alike. His music is quite effective in-movie, but not so much for listening though. I have a few of his scores and I can only listen to bits here and there, but never the whole soundtrack because the inbetween is so freaking boring.

Hans Zimmer is popular to the mass, but among movie score enthusiasts, he is quite hated and often considered a hack.

New pic of Henry Cavill as Superman from a French magazine:

Henry Cavill IS Superman.

And the suit looks beautiful, they pulled it off very well in my opinion.

He doesn't do most of his own work anymore. He has a big team that helps him (moreso than other composers) and is renowned for being an absolute *******.

Much better trailer and does give a much better view of a Superman we want to see(ie. no realism crap Supes using his powers and stuff). But...was it absolutely necessary from Zimmer to recyle Gladiator music (Lisa Gerrard mumbling nonsense again)? I'd prefer hearing John Williams theme...

And reusing it on another film is very cheap. Not to mention getting images of Russell Crowe (and he's in this one as well to make matter "worse") as Maximus saying one of those famous lines. "My name is Jor-El and I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

Um, in case you were not aware of this, trailers almost always use recycled music. Doesn't matter what move it is. The teaser trailer even used the music from Gandalf's death in LOTR.

Often the composer is still working on the final cut up until the last month before release.

Hans Zimmer always recycles his scores.

- The army and Superman wouldn't be so brazen and stupid to fight one another (heavy casualties on the army's behalf if that were to happen). If anything the army is probably holding Superman hostage so that they could use him as a sort of weapon. This idea came to mind after reading the Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, especially with the theme of politics that flicks like Superman, Batman like to explore.

- Dat showdown..Good on Zack Snyder and the Trailer team to make the counterpart a vague figure (and get me annoyed on who's the villain he's facing! It's easy to say General Zod...but I'm not so sure). And there's been rampant rumours about Black Zero being the overarching character responsible for wanting Earth to be destroyed, as he is a space saboteur responsible for Krypton's destruction (IIRC).

And just like DKR, hopefully an old Christian Bale will kick Superman in the jaw.

Why did they have to go in such a moody gritty direction though? The trailer looked good but it feels like Nolan maybe had too big of an influence with the feel of the movie. This is still Superman after all.
