Right now, I'd be more comfortable giving up Kulemin but even then it would take quite a bit. There are players that I don't share the same admiration for. Tyler Bozak, Clarke MacArthur, Cody Franson and even Joe Colborne. I think they're all decent-to-good players but I won't be expecting big returns for.

Kulemin and Frattin are different.
actually looking at the decent to good players that could make a good trade for a better player

not what im saying La has no frist round pick in 2013 so we would need the toronto 2nd to help make up for it but if the 1st is up for grab who would we have to add? Keep in mind brown koptiar william carter gagne richards penner stoll or the defense would not be avialable

BEN SCRIVENS + ____________ + 2ND ROUND PICK (2013)

I wonder if the LA Kings need any help down the road on defence.

Toronto's prospect depth on the blue line:

Korbinian Holzer (NHL-ready)
Jesse Blacker (2nd rounder in 2009, NHL ready: 2013/14)
Stuart Percy (1st rounder in 2011, AHL rookie in 2012/13)
Matthew Finn (2nd rounder in 2012)
Petter Granberg (AHL-eligible for 2012/13)
Tom Nilsson (youngest player drafted in 2011, 100th overall)

Little-to-no value:

Max Everson
Andrew MacWilliam
Dennis Robertson
Simon Gysbers
Eric Knodel

Near untouchables:

Morgan Rielly
Jake Gardiner

It's going to take a bit of an overpayment to get Bernier at this current time. The Kings are in no rush to trade him as they know Martin Jones isn't ready to step in and be a #2 behind Quick. Unless they are wowed by a trade, Bernier will be a King at the start of the season.

It has nothing to do with Martin Jones.

Ben Scrivens would become available and he was the best goalie in the AHL.

He's a late bloomer but the guy will spend many years in the NHL as a solid backup or a #1B goaltender.

so your saying lombardi would not accept any deal that included a back up goaltender? sure lets keep someone who doesnt want to be here when we have a trade on hand that can bring a back up goalie nhl ready into the fold

I think la would actually perfer someone along the lines of mason auld or someone more established as a backup spot then a rookie.

Pittsburgh, Edmonton, and Nashville have deeper prospect depth at D then the Leafs and I believe there is a few more. LA has excellent depth at D and is the last thing they need, if anything they could use a top 6 winger
