An analysis done by Minneapolis television station WCCO in October found that over 5 percent of pro basketball athletes in the United States had been in trouble, with MLB coming in at 2.1 percent

Considering the fact that pretty much every NFL player could be considered wealthy, that number is still ridiculously high.
I'd like to see what the crime rate is among citizens with an average income above $100,000 and compare the figures.
Such a moron. A person in his position should not be at a club at two a.m. getting smashed.
Why? He was with his girlfriend and some family and a silly situation escalated either due to too many drinks or an over zealous cop. Too say an athlete can't go out with friends and family in the off season is moronic, we don't even know if he was smashed.

Nothing good comes from being at a nightclub at two in the morning. There is just no reason for him to put himself in that situation.
Does this open the door for possible suspension at hands of Roger Goodell?
Doubtful, unless he's convicted. No prior offenses, other than speeding tickets.
He shouldn't put himself in the position to begin with but the whole thing seems fishy. How do you get arrested for resisting arrest? Wouldn't you have to be getting arrested for something else to even have the opportunity to resit arrest?
A suspension may be beneficial to the Vikes though, so he aint rushed back to early.
