The crowd seems understandably pissed about paying for this crap.

I was hoping they'd announce Faber seeing Barao jumping around like that. Would've been absolutely hilarious.

Thiago/Shogun and Big Nog/Kongo...those fights being scrapped really crippled the card. Prelims were awesome.

One of the worst cards in recent memory.

Faber had no real gameplan, he was content with wandering aimlessly and hitting nothing but air with haymakers.

I was fine with the Lombard/Boetsch decision. Lombard looked like he had somewhere more important to be whereas Boetsch was at least mildly interested in the fight.

Really?

Maybe they should be happy the ufc came to Calgary at all?

Its nobody's fault all the fighters were injured.

Well, maybe it is the ufc's fault for having too many events, but we have talked about this for a couple years already and what we said would happen, has happened.

Calculated risk on their part.

Cant really blame them for going all in while the sport is hot.

But they are ruining it by doing so many events and watering down the talent pool.

Lombard was all bark no bite. He doesn't hook gloves like hes going to come out swinging...then he just stands in front of Boetsch. It seems after seeing him eat some hard punches and not wilt..Lombard gave up.

Lombard and Ebersole's performances were outright baffling.

Neither one looked like they wanted to be there.

To be fair, it was the first time the guy standing across from Lombard wasn't a Wal-mart greeter

BTW everyone should watch the presser. I believe Dana said he's announcing Silva's next fight. I expect it to be Wiedman obviously but we'll see.
