Given the context of "AINEC" on these boards, I think the correct definition would be "And I'm Not Ever Correct".
On topic: I was really hoping Grigs would fall to the Flames when he made his way down the draft list. Darn Buffalo. That said, the Flames now have The Big Jankowski, the player with the real highest ceiling in the draft (AINEC).
Sure there are some two-faces around here but the expectations of a guy going #12 instead of #3-5 are very different. Would anyone care if Patrik Stefan had a subpar NHL career if he was the #11 pick instead of #1?
Touche, although Stefan's failures were enough I wager he would be noticed regardless but I agree with your point. Frankly, this draft has the potential for numerous success stories. People have been underrating a number of prospects. Rielly and Frosberg are prime examples to join Grigs.
I do love how only a few months ago people were clamoring Grigs being a bust was inevitable and that teams (favored being Montreal) would regret choosing him. Now that the more comically hated teams, specifically Montreal and Toronto, have passed, he is now the "steal of the draft." Ironically, this bi-polar reaction has yet to come from Buffalo fans.
Just rather amusing to witness.
Some were clamoring hat he was going to be a bust. Some were not. I can tell you to look at the Buffalo draft thread and man wanted him form the time they were in the cellar mid-season, trhoug the day before the draft. Obviously, no one really knows.
If he ends up a true number 1 center and was drafted at 12, then it is a steal and potentially the steal of the draft, (even though he had been projected a top three). This is not about Toronto or Montreal. Its about Buffalo signing a player that has the potential to end up stud center, whcih this team has not had since Pat LaFontaine.
I guess he was joking because of your name (though I think the Forsberg in your name refers to Peter and not Filip). the only forward that went between Yakupov/Galchenyuk and Girgorenko is Filip Forsberg who ironically is considered by most to be a steal at that spot as well..
Be it his ankle, the mono, the run on defensemen or scouts just souring on the kid... I'm just happy he's a Sabre. There is so much potential there, I'm looking forward to what he does with it as he matures.

It is absolutely ridiculous that guys like Slater Koekkoek, Hampus Lindholm, Derrick Pouliot, ect went before this guy. Incredible how stupid those teams will feel IMO. Might become the best player in the draft.
