Gophers 2002 Champs (will give you goosebumps)

This is the best thing we have in Minnesota with the lockout (and maybe without ). I've been to hundreds of sporting events in my 32 years of life and this by far is the best moment I've ever experienced and I'll never forget being there. If you are a Wild fan and itching for Hockey, don't forget you have the best team in College Hockey to go watch and support. Watching this again just made me go buy more tickets. GO GOPHERS!

I remember where I was when I watched that game, though. Good times.

I have that in my favorites and have watched that every week for the last 2 years. Definitely something very inspirational to watch. Just amazing.

Doesn't give me goosebumps. More like the dry-heaves.

You'll always have that time St. Cloud beat Northern Michigan at the X in double overtime to finally win a first round tournament game.

Gopher fans desperately trying to relive the past to justify 9 years without an NCAA finals appearance? Color me shocked.

It's that or live in the present with the #1 team in the country. Both work just fine.

You may see it as 9 years without a finals appearance; I see 2 titles in the last 11 years.

Arbitrary cutoffs are fun.

That's a supposed to be a bad thing? lol.. 2 Championships in 11 years I'll take ANY DAY! And I was AT one of the best National Championship Games in NCAA Hockey HISTORY, and damn was it great! Right NOW we ARE #1 and that's one heck of a feeling!

Man I'm loving life........ even a troll can't touch this right now.

Sounds like what a Leafs fan would say. Let me know how well that's working out for them.

If we're still on this board in 34 years, and the situation remains unchanged, I will do just that.

I'll never forget that tying goal in the 3rd. Watching the game in the basement with my mom and dad. I said it was over and my dad said not necessarily. Seconds later they tie the game and that jump into the bench is what I remember best. This game and Wheeler's amazing goal to beat the Sioux are the most iconic Gopher moments for me.

Even watching on tv you could feel the tension in the crowd and the release after the game winner.

Pohl improved so much from his freshman year, watching him rip that shot for the second goal and thinking back to when he could barely get the puck off the ice. It seemed like it all came together that year, like his body finally caught up to his head. Of course it was that kind of year for a lot of the kids Taffe, Leopold, Hauser etc.

Loved the 87 and 91 World Series and the 91 North Stars run but that is my favorite sports moment to this date.

Habs haven't had any better luck than the Leafs in the past nearly two decades. Just like the track the goofs are on now.
