The Leafs are the ONLY team since the lockout to not make the playoffs
The Leafs refuse to tank and end up with superstar prospects like Kadri and Rielly who will never make an impact in the NHL.
No big name UFA wants to come and play for the Leafs.
I'm really not sure what's there to look forward to. Do you?
Its always darkest before the dawn, and there is always hope to cling to, that things will change for the better as they usually do eventually.
Toronto is at a point where something has to give, and new ownership brings new beginnings to a potential brighter future ahead.

Honestly guys..,. the LAST time when I was excited about the Leafs was when they played the Canes in the semifinals and Mats Sundin or whoever it was scored the goal in game six that led to overtime before we were put away.
Man.
That was almost 10 years ago.
WTF. This is not how it's supposed to be for the "hockey mecca" of the world.

You're not going to find people disagree in general with you on that part...
tell me the last time a player the leafs drafted who made a name for himself
tell me this..if i flip a quarter 4 times and it lands on heads, does this mean it will land on heads the 5th time? serious question what do you think?

No. But what is it about the Leafs that keep landing on heads while other teams like LA land on tails?
It has no bearing on the current picks. Why do you think it does?
come on man... it's a simple question. Can anyone answer it? When, and who was it? A former Leaf draft pick who made it on the first or second line. It's not tough guys.

We've drafted and developed several NHLers. Some of them we havent shown the patience to see them through and they become good parts of other teams. Our biggest problem has been lack of high picks (because we would always trade them). When you don't have those high picks, you won't often draft those star caliber potential players.
