That's a decent top 9. Some other teams probably have more stacked top 9s with NHLers, but that top 9 should be able to hold their own.
Is it possible that Girg is put in top-6?

Tarnasky-Schofield-Legault looks like the probable fourth line. They could provide some beef and dog the puck/hit.

Certainly part of the "Slapshot" aspect of Vityaz. I was impressed with his ability to roof it in tight during practice -- probably one of those guys who has some hands when the pressure isn't on but locks up when things go live.

Is there anyway to watch the games if I don't have a credit card to pay for AHL live stream?

Amerks have such a huge potential advantage for the PP this season. You could make an argument that Brennan and Mancari have two of the best shots in the league. I hope they utilize it effectively.

For Canadian fans, the 10/13 game vs. the Marlies will carried by Sportsnet.

And yet there still seems to be no word on games on TWCS.
I'm hoping for expanded coverage.

Hopefully the TWC Sports Channels in both Rochester and Buffalo pickup coverage of the game and show it LIVE. Currently both have a LIVE college football game (Utah State at San Jose State) and other taped programs scheduled during the timeslot (5:00 pm ET-8:00 pm ET) of when the hockey game will be played. Since the football game doesn't feature a local college (Syracuse/Buffalo etc) I'm sure they will be allowed to not show it since they are replacing it with a local sports event.

Will it be on national TV or just in the Toronto area?

The press release says it will be on Sportsnet One rather than a regional channel.

Based on today's D&C article, it sounds like MacKenzie has won a job in the top 6.

Crawford, JGL, Fienhage and Schiestel on the outside looking in.

Talk about a guy being ruined by one injury. Gotta feel for the guy.

I think this means you might be seeing JGL and Fienhage in the ECHL. Don't see them sending Crawford or Schiestel packing. Said they would keep 8.

Yes, those are the two Amerk goalies with Leggio probably the starter, Knapp backup.

Porter was named captain with Mancari and Brennan being the alternates.

No word on local TV for Saturday yet. As for future TV games - according to their website - TWC Sports Channel-Rochester will be showing a few games in Nov. with the first game being Hamilton at Rochester - LIVE - on Nov. 2. (Hopefully TWC Sports Channel-Buffalo picks up these games as well and shows them LIVE - if possible - too.)

Nice to see Knapp make the team.

I'm hoping there is a presence on TV aside from TWC. I'm a FIOS customer. I'm sure there are also Direct and Dish customers who would also love to see the games.

We'll see right away where the Amerks stand among the league's elite. They start against a big chunk of the group that won last year's Calder Cup, and then travel to Toronto to play the team the Lightning's prospects beat for the Calder Cup.

Kinda glad to see that since those guys get it as opposed to guys who are just there for the duration of the lockout

Hodgson is one of the nicest most humble people ive ever met, especially for a professional athlete.

he was awesome he asked what mine and my girlfriends names ere and personally signed our names and stuff, we talked abit about his offseason workout stuff, was incredibly laid back.

Joe Finley was hilarious, he hung back and looked completely at home shmoozing with us common folks lol. I asked him when they were gonna let him loose on the B's and he laughed and said "not soon enough".
