If the Flyers were dumb enough to offer that massive rate to Carlson they would probably take the picks. But if they offer him closer to his value at say 4-5.5ish for a while then the Caps match in a heartbeat and thank the Flyers for their work negotiating.

The Caps match, especially since it's Philly.

But Carlson has been in DC most of the summer and was even at the Caps Dev camp. I'm not worried about him signing an offer sheet.
