Not a single player makes as much as 5 million per, and they've locked down guys like Oshie, Backes, and Perron on great value contracts.

23 guys under contract, and still over 16 million in cap space, and some very good prospects about to join in.

Very well done on their part.

Severe financial issues with smart management will do that for you. The 2009-2010 Nashville Predators were similar (no one over $5MM and $12.6MM in cap space with a much lower cap) and nearly upset the eventual cup winners in the opening round.
