There is a reason Lou always says Marty is a student of the game in the likes of Stevie Y and Niewendyk and will make for a good front office guy in the future

Marty comes off as being very intelligent. I would like to see him do an apprenticeship of sorts with Lou as an assistant GM or something.

He did in one game, but I forget which one.

Also LOL at Colorado for retiring Bourque's number.

Can we retire Mogilny's? Only difference is Mogilny didn't retire with us. Then again actually we were the last NHL team he played for.No one is ever gonna wear number 89 again anyway! Do it Lou!

Man that hurts to watch. We had the series won if they would have shown up for game 6 at home!

I believe Sykora scored the game winner in that game 4 minutes before the 3rd period ended.

chris stewart anyone? rw, young, his value is low right now and i could see him solidifying our rw a bit.
i like his toughness and i think he'd be a great fit.

Absolutely. I would trade volch or tallinder straight up for him.

Not sure if St. Louis would.

The big joke about that game was we outshot them something like 35-12 but still were behind until Wah handed us that one on a silver platter. I actually thought there was less time remaining in the game though, like four minutes left or something.

And lol at that being Gomez's first goal in thirteen games. I do remember he and Mogilny having bad playoffs, except for the Toronto series where they combined for a few goals.

Stewart is one of the few struggling players that I believe NJ can turn back into an awesome player.

the Blues look like they have a small surplus of forwards right now.
I'm sure they wouldn't mind another veteran on the blueline with all the young guys they have.

I think Tallinder would fit in pretty well there.
And if he's going to go to a Western team, the Central has the better travel out of all the divisions (with his previous blood clot being a factor here).

Chris Stewart would definitely be worth a shot.
Quick, somebody get TG in Lou's ear.

Random, but without Parise this year how different should we expect our warm up music to be?

I didn't really care for it all that much, although the more games I attended the more I started to love those songs. Nostalgia I guess.

Just wanted to bring up a point about Henrique real quick. I don't know if I'm the only one who realized, but in the Philly series he probably missed around 4 breakaways. He didn't put up great numbers in the playoffs, but with 4 more goals they would look very good especially for a rookie. Everyone still seems to be set on the thought that he is a 2/3 liner. My question is... Well... Why? He is very talented and put up very good numbers his rookie year. I think he will be a 1/2 line player, and have atleast a few 65-70 point years. Enough of this 40-50 point third liner ********

Wont change a bit. DJ Zubrus is at the helm for music.

I dont think anyone is expecting him not to be a 1 or 2 line player at this point. Most of us have Josefson lining up at the 3rd line center with Carter/Gio as fourth
