The national teams have no advertising but if you go to Addidas or Nike Town the jerseys have sponsors. Those are the Offical jerseys, you can get one without Sponsors as well but I know a guy who only wears his Man United "sharp" sponsored jersey from the late 90's because with that jersey Man U won the Treble (all 3 championship titles in 1 year)
I guess it all comes down to fans wanting the jersey or not. I still have my original Isles Jersey I got when I was 14. I bought it XL at the time and now it fits perfectly lol, I won't waste money on any player names on the back cause I don't want to jinx that player.
