Lucic is barely a top 6 forward.
Well his size alone knocked Hamhuis out of the playoffs, basically cementing the Bruin's cup win. You don't want to move something like that unless you're getting back something equally as "intangible" heh.

Lucic plus for Ryan/Nash?

At least with those guys you're adding to your team

Didn't Hamhuis hit Lucic and then get injured?

Yes because we have a need for him. If we had another 70 point 40 goal scoring Selke winner on the Canucks I would trade him instantly

Ok I'm gonna be serious now.

What would I have to add to Chris Kreider?

If Im trading Lucic I'd rather trade him for Nash
Imagine in another deal the Bruins trade Krejci for Bobby Ryan

Nash-Seguin-Ryan would be the 1st line

Pipe dream.

You claimed you didn't want Lucic because he's apparently cocky. Yet you're here kissing Kesler's feet? The same guy who called Andrew Ladd a 4th line player? lol.

Whooooooooooosh.

Why trade centers for wingers? Boston won the cup due to ridiculous depth at center

He fits in our locker room. I am not his biggest fan but I know he is a good player and he is best friends with several players on the Canucks

Lucic tauned Vancouver fans during the SCF and if he were to ever play for us he would be run out of town faster than you could even say Lucic

You can use the depth to improve the wingers though

They would still be Seguin, Bergeron, Kelly, Campbell, Peverley down the line which is still awesome

Although I like your negotiating, my offer is Dubinsky and Kredier. You will get no plus, no minus, no multiply, no square root. No math signs for you

When did Lucic taunt Vancouver fans? In fact, I remember on his day with the cup that he couldn't bring it downtown with his friends due to safety concerns. Poor guy. He is a mean SOB on the ice. And all 29 teams in the league would line up for him and take him with open arms. He is a unique hockey player, something that every team would kill for.

Yeah he fits in well with guys like Bieksa and Burrows...Lucic is what the Canucks needed the last few years, a player with a backbone. They tradedf for Kassian hoping he could become the next Lucic, but so far he looks like a bigger version of Torres.

get:

Rick Nash
Derek Dorsett

gets:

Milan Lucic
Malcom Subban
Adam Mcquaid
2013 conditional BOS 1st*

The condition is Nash scores 40 goals

Thoughts?

I think Boston overpays a little but I still like the trade.

It would never work because Howson has been overvaluing Nash from get-go.
