Disgraceful... senseless violence. Knowing the anticipation and excitment of those who were out for the late-night premiere, and hearing about something like this breaks my heart. I wish I could do more than just say how much my thoughts and prayers go out to these poor people and their families. Smile at a stranger this week, to you who live in Colorado.

I hope James Holmes burns for what he's done. Worthless human being, it's a shame that no punishment the justice system could dole out would compensate for his crimes.

God I'm praying for the victims right now and I had to call my friends in Arvada to make sure they didn't go(I assume he was fine). I in Orlando right now and moving back to CO to work in the ski resorts and then move into the Denver area for College. Now I know I might get a flat in Aurora. Although I lived in Arvada for a year its cheaper in Aurora. Now If I move in the city I might get my conceal weapon permit now. I wanted to move to Colorado to get away from the crime in Orlando(which has one of worst crime rates in America). But I think this is a rare occasion. I love Colorado has a home and this is going to stop me from coming back and living there in peace and happiness. RIP victims.

Yea I just saw in the fine print that came from his school. Lots of sites were claiming it's his mugshot because it came from mugshots.com. Had to edit my post so I didn't continue the misinformation.

RIP to all the victims. When I read that he shot a baby at close range and the family started screaming, I nearly vomited. This ****er can go straight to hell.

This absolutely breaks my heart all the way in ny I can't imagine how you guys and people that were involved feel. Make me get teary every time I think about it. I was planning on seeing the movie tonight and was very excited. However, now I'm not sure if I can watch it or ever really truly enjoy it no matter when I see it. I'm sick to my stomach over this.

Deepest condolences.

I have a friend that's in the Denver area that I knew ahead of time was going to see a midnight showing of TDKR, but I didn't know where he went so I was scared ****less for a bit. Thankfully, he went to a theater in the Boulder area so didn't even know about it until he texted me to brag about the fact that he saw the movie already earlier this morning.

I can't imagine what would possess someone to rig their apartment with explosives, go prop the door open at a movie theater, then come back in and start shooting.

I'm having a really tough time with things today, and my thoughts go out to all the families affected.

I wonder what this does to FA's wanting to sign in Colorado in the future. I say this shooting not only effects the victims, but also everything else like sports in the state.

Shootings and stuff happen everywhere but seems like Colorado has the nutcases who go into schools and theaters and open fire.

Once every, what, 15 years and the amount of victims is, what, 0.001% of people? You have better chance winning lottery than getting killed in this kind of act.

Things like DUI are way more likely to kill you. They just takes so few people at once (usually one), that the media coverage is a lot smaller.
