Bigger impact NHLer in five years

In alphabetical order, out of Adam, Armia, Girgensons, and Grigorenko, who will be the best, most valuable guy to the NHL team in five years?

Feel free to rank the four.

Yeah just these four. Our board rankings will start soon enough. Just curious about the four listed forwards.

Adam will be the oldest (and I think he'll be a good player), but I'm not sure what the long-term future holds for him in Buffalo. He's probably my lowest.

Armia has top-line sniper written all over him. In five years, I could see him scoring 30 goals a season.

Girgensons is the kind of player that will be extremely valuable even if he doesn't pan out offensively. So long as he develops properly, he should be an impact player five years from now. I'm not sure who I'd rank higher between he and Armia.

Grigorenko obviously has the highest ceiling of this bunch. In five years, I'd hope he'd be at least a 60-70 point center.

Grigorenko
Girgensons/Armia

Adam

If they reach their potential? Grigs, Armia, Girgs, Adam. That said, if Grigs and Armia both pan out to their potential (which I see as top-line guys), then we're going to be in very very very good shape.

Vanek-Grigs-Armia

I don't think that's the case for Grigorenko at all. It's widely-considered that his ceiling is that of a franchise center - the highest of our prospects and one of the highest of his draft class. Expecting him to have made the biggest NHL impact five years from now isn't unreasonable at all.

I don't see his potential as a first line franchise Center. Also since he'll be on the wrong side of 60 in 5 years, I fear he's already retired by then.

The latter half was obviously sarcastic, but I was stricken by the boldfaced. I think that is undoubtedly Mikhail's potential. Whether or not he reaches said potential is up for debate.

Grigorenko - will be a 1st line center for many years winning multiple cups

Armia - Will be on a line with Grigs for many years winning multiple cups.

Girgensons - Will be an impact center on the Sabres for many yrs. winning multiple cups

Adam - will be traded sooner than people think imo.

That's widely regarded as his potential. You may not see it, but everyone else does.

Most Important in 5 Years:
Mikhail Grigorenko - He will be our Franchise center in the same Mold as Spezza.

Zemgus Girgensen - He will be our Best Leader, We will see drop offs of energy and fight when he is out of the lineup. He reminds me of Dustin Brown in a way.

Joel Armia - He will be looked at how Vanek is; though there might be a few guys that can put the puck in the net, they won't be as reliable as he is.

Luke Adam - He probably would be the next Stafford...He's there, but he won't tap into his potential some people think he can.

Best Player in 5 years:

Grigorenko
Armia
Girgensen
Adam

Based on potential, it goes:

Grigorenko
Armia
Girgensons
Adam

Predicting any other order is predicting someone to be a disappointment, and I just have no desire to do that.

Note how everyone votes the guy who's actually been in the NHL as dead last. Based on that kind of potential, my baby nephew projects out higher than all of these guys.

I mean if you rate Jason Spezza as that number one top franchise Center, I guess everybodys right. We should throw a party for everyone.

but either way, I don't give a **** what everbody thinks tbh.
