I can tolerate basketball, but it is more or less last resort for me, I also love the Australian Open in Tennis, it always coincides with the commencement of the ATD so it's usually a pretty exciting time!
Hockey
...
American Football
...
...
...
...
...
Baseball in the summer, when I can drink a beer, wear my Jeff Francoeur Braves jersey unbuttoned and sit there like a slob and watch a game because there's nothing else to do...
...
...
everything else
Basketball I can't watch because I don't like the concept or the squeaking, how can you tolerate the squeaking?!?! I respect soccer/football, but I just can't get into it...and those are the 5 sports...so, yeah...

Agreed , though I like all majors except Roland Garros.Hate clay tennis.

I had the privilege to be in attendance for the Australian Open, Rolland Garros and Wimbledon. Out of the four Grand Slam, I'm only missing the US Open, but I live in Montreal, so I will go in the next few years, no question.

Exhibit A as to how hockey doesn't matter on ESPN:
Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
1. NHL playoff hockey; 2. NHL regular season hockey of my fav nine teams (SJ, WAS, PHI, VAN, WIN, BUF, NAS, EDM, MON); 3. Tourney hockey (World Cup, Olympics, World Juniors, Frozen Four, Canada vs. USA women's); 4. Other hockey leagues (U.S. college, WHL, AHL playoffs, ECHL, some KHL this year, other Euros occasionally online); 5. Archived classic hockey games and documentaries (Soviets, Summit Series, Miracle on Ice, youtubing).
I have been all about hockey for many years now.
I am a B.C. Lions fan and member of the Rider Nation but have only caught parts of four games this season. (Sadly. CFL football should be fourth on my list but isn't these days. Maybe in the future again...). I was a diehard Cleveland Browns fan (grew up a Seahawks and Joe Montana's 49ers fan) until they moved to Baltimore, though I did watch them win the Super Bowl there, I haven't seen a complete NFL game since.
I gave up watching Grand Slam Tennis (a lifelong tradition) when butt-yanking Nadal overtook Federer. I haven't seen a match in years.
I still watch World Cup Football/Soccer. But as with football and tennis, interest has waned....
don't care about anything else, really. CFL football, if the riders get to the west final... that's about it.
used to care about baseball. don't watch the world series, the super bowl or the grey cup unless the riders are in it.
pretty much have to force myself to watch something in the olympics other than hockey.
like playing golf and tennis, don't watch them though. Like playing baseball and football on the side with friends, though naturally you can't just say "hey, let's go play baseball" like you can football.
Literally 99.99% of my sports attention (playing, watching, studying, discussing) goes towards hockey.
Oh. Of the TEAM sports: I played high school football (receiver and special teams coverage), soccer for nine years lots of pick up 3-on-3 basketball. And hockey of course.
Nowadays the only team sport I play is ball hockey here in South Korea. Here I am, the chubby (was in the process of losing 100 lbs at the time, took eleven months!) bald (shaven head) passing left winger who scores the goal! on the second rush high stickside against a great goalie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6paizRoFg4Q (we lost 3-1 even though we outshot them greatly; they went on to the semifinals).
2. American Football
3. Winter Olympic Sports (non-hockey)
4. Auto Racing
5. Tennis
6. Soccer
7. Basketball
Basketball used to be my second favorite sport to watch, but I can't stand the NBA now.
Golf and Baseball aren't even on my radar. Maybe I have ADHD or something I really don't care for the Summer Olympic sports like Track and Field either. Okay, beach volleyboll is pretty good

Really nice goal , you look like a decent player.Doesn't look chubby to me in that video.
I like playing badminton a lot (rarely have the chance anymore), but I can't imagine watching other people play for any length of time.
I enjoy playing badminton a lot more than watching it, but seeing Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei (Peter Gade used to be in the same category for me) play is just insanely cool experience for me
Ran an ATD for Penguins players only - brief, simple rules: min. 150 GP for players, 100 GD for keepers, 100 GP for coaches...
Recommendations:
- Can't do anything about goaltending, so don't penalize teams for taking them so high (too high) and further, don't penalize a team for not having goaltending at the end, there's only 2 goalies in franchise history, maybe a third (and he wasn't picked until way, way down)...
- Crosby was taken over Jagr because that particular person is still a sour sally about July 11, 2001.
