Yeah, Lawler was sent to the hospital. he's breathing on his own, so that's good.

Yup. Though I could get anyone to go with me to see them later this year

And I'll wait til next week to hear it. Hopefully it's better than Day & Age, though it won't be hard.

I think OLYMPIC GOLD made up for that.

Yeah, Day & Age is a very divisive album for them, you either love it or hate it. I for one thought it was a tremendous album, A Dustland Fairytale is not just one of the best songs they've written, but seriously one of the best songs that anyone has written. Just seeing them perform it live on David Letterman makes it all the more better. Such a passionate performance.

And FYI, this is for ANYONE who's interested, if you're in the US or Canada and would like to listen to their album FREE and LEGALLY, you can stream it RIGHT NOW on iTunes! I can't hold off anymore and am listening to it right now!

A Dustland Fairytale was the only thing worth listening to a lot on that album, along with the three bonus tracks that came in its various forms.

47 games worth of suspensions in one game (71 if counting in the coaches) in Finland.
That's quite an accomplishment in itself. (18+12+6+6+4+1 games for the 6 players, 8+8+8 for the 3 coaches)
And to make things more weird, it wasn't even a game that was played in the Finnish Elite League.
But it was absolutely brutal and completely unnecessary and I seriously hope that the team I am a fan of will learn from this and sort out punishments inside the team as well cause this was absolutely unacceptable from one of their players and I hope he never wears a hockey sweater again. (the one who got 18 games).

Smart man, however I don't have NHL yet. I'll probably wait until it goes on sale or something.

The PS3 is a nice machine, but it was always priced too high for me. I'll probably get it tonight or tomorrow.

Is it just me or is the lettering on the Avs jerseys in this game really ****ed up?

If you are referring to the lettering on the players' names, then no, it's not just you, it was one of the first things I noticed...almost like there's TOO much space between each letter.

I'm playing my first game and the Red Wings look normal with their space but our jerseys have way too much space between each letter.

Plus they screwed up EJ's face again!! That's 2 years where they have given him the wrong face. Seriously is it that hard to give him the right face? He's one of our best players and they can't fix that? Plus why does McGinn have blonde hair?? Last year O'Byrne had blonde hair, now McGinn has blonde hair.

Yep, EJ, O'Reilly, Varlamov and a lot of other players on our team, they all have generic faces. It's like when they advertised having a "bigger budget" for things like authentic player's faces, it seems like they just skipped the Avalanche.

Also I thought they improved trading with the CPU but I just traded O'Brien, Nermark and Kobasew for Ryan Murray, Zigomanis and another AHLer.

Seems fair to me, you're the one that's getting ripped off. O'Brien has 60 point potential, Nermark will be the best 2 way forward in the league and Kobasew is the best PKer in the league.
