Habs GDT championship

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1089743 - Chilloutine

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1055207 - 1970s Habs-Flyers

Certainly two of the bright spots of the past season... but which one is the best?

both are pure awesomeness, very tough to choose but went with chilloutine

I'd beat my kids if they ever became Ruins fans, prefer they go to prison . . .

Both are really great!

But I had to go 70's. Those do's just like on those old O-Pee-Chee Cards.

Both are amazing. I vote for one because a decision has to be made, but both were absolutely incredible.

Chilloutine gets my vote.

AAAAAH! so hard to chose

edit: voted chilloutine

double edit: seriously, the chilloutine one talks about so many of the problems we had the whole season, it almost reads like an almanac...

That Chilloutine GDT was an instant classic. Period. It deserved to win the Waffle Cup, an Emmy, an Oscar AND the Internet.

If there were a HFBoards-wide competition for a GDT, I would happy to see either up there representing the Habs, and I recall fondly the Flyers one from last year. That one one would win the HFBoards competition if it took place. Montreal fans are insanely committed to their team, and in these two cases, extremely creative, and this just proves it. I'd rather see fans show their support this way, than loot shops and overturn cars after a playoff result.

There was one, but it was rigged.

If, somehow, the Habs had 2 Eastern Conference berths (like the Sharks that had 3 Western Conference berths) in the next Waffle Cup playoffs, then both would have been there.

The Waffle Cup Final wasn't. It was the Western Conference final that was rigged.
