«I'm happy for Evan, but Donovan is our guy». -Jesse Marsch

I guess we won't see Evan Bush on Saturday.

No, but a big team will snap him up soon... Milan wanted him before IIRC but the deal fell through. I don't remember why..

One word to describe Lloris last night.. WOW! The save on Wenger was nice, but the one on Mapp was 100x better! Probably one of the best saves I've ever seen.

And to those who were doubting Wenger not so long ago, I think last night proved he's a keeper! Great strike with his left foot to beat Lloris and got robber by Lloris a little before his goal. Not only that, but he also has great vision, that pass he made to MDV (who shot it 200ft over the net) was nice and IIRC he's the one who got the cross in to Mapp for that volley the Lloris saved. We need to play MDV and Wenger together!

It was hard to tell if Lyon were just really good at corners, or if we still looked really weak. I guess the jury is still out on that one.

Overall, i thought the team played very well. Honestly, the only disappointment of the evening was Di Vaio, and it wasn't even his play, it was more just his demeanor. He looked pissed off most of the game, and only applauded his teammates on the occasion where he skied the ball on his one big chance of the game. I still believe that it will just take one goal to get him on track, but there's no telling when that's going to happen. I think it should be clear to Marsch though that he has to start Wenger up front no matter what.
I can tell you that many many people are losing patience with him for this single reason. First of all, his first touch is less than fantastic so even when he does get the ball, it often bounces off. Secondly , he's had his chances and never capitalised so instead of looking at others, he should look at himself in the mirror. many angry comments about him in the stands over the last few games. Third, he is to small and easily pushed off by defenders.

It was my first game ever at the Saputo stadium yesterday. I was there with 3 friends and we all hope that we can go back soon ! We were sitting with the ultras and it was awesome.

He'll never admit it, but I'm sure he thought goals would come much easier against MLS defenders than what he's used to. I think Marsch should take some pressure off of him by making him the secondary striker with Wenger. If anything, Di Vaio's passing has been his strongest suit thus far, and i think scoring opportunities will come easier to him if he plays slightly behind Wenger up front.

Before Di Vaio is run out of town, I heard a lot of the same thing about Henry when Red Bull first signed him. He looked finished.

I mean Marco isn't the complete player Henry is, but a lot of these guys have a harder adjustment than they expect.

De Santis scouted him for over 1 year. Said he was a poacher that played a tough game, and was hard to move inside the box. Marco isn't thrown off his game due to the roughness of the MLS. If he was a Justin Braun I would be scared, but hes getting personal chances & creating some for other forwards aswell

Di Vaio could have 3 goals by now. I'm positive once he gets one, he will get more.

Watching the Roma game makes me wonder if Nesta could convince Totti to play for Montreal.

Totti? No way he would come, he's a control freak.
