Seattle drafted Dman Dante Fabbro in the draft. Extremely talented Dman that grew up with Barzal and they have been best friends since they were little. Rumors were that Seattle was the only place Fabbro would report to when drafted. Shea Theodore will be just leaving the league once Fabbro is just coming in so its perfect timing for the T-Birds
How old is Thedore ?

Theodore is a 95, so if he stays for two more years and Fabbro comes up in his first year of eligibility, they will be on the roster together for one year (2014-15)

Lipsberg is a good player that is high energy
Delnov is a good all around talent
Honey is pretty good playmaker
after that you are getting into role guys
Second-ish third line guys

That is why Barzal is a great signing, add Kolesar, who did pretty well (so far) and could become a decent power forward and iff Gropp signs on, you would a an elite type line in the making

On D Theodore is your #1 d man (offensive minded)
Jared hauf is growing into a shutdown type role

Jerret Smith is a good 2 way D-man that could get drafted this year after only 1 year in the league
Taylor Green is a HUGE kid with some upside offensively. played pretty good down the stretch.
Add to that prospect ethan bear coming up next season and a few other guys. I think the futur is pretty bright in Seattle

Yeah, there number one goal this offseason has to be finding a goalie. They lose Glover as an overage this offseason and that's a huge blow. They should be able to score in 2013-14 though, with guys like Barzal, Lipsbergs, Hickman, Honey, Delnov, etc up front with Theodore on D.

Probably not, their D is massive but lacks star power outside of Theodore.

They are many steps away from being a WHL contender.

Seattle is still a year or 2 away from being in the top 4 teams in the western conference in my opinion. Barzal and Theodore are going to wreak major havoc on the PP. Its going to be very exciting with those 2 on the PP. But Seattle has some work to do in this offseason. Hopefully a few trades

Maybe in a year or 2 they will have a decent team.

They better hope Barzal doesnt leave to the NHL at 18 like RNH and others.

Otherwise they have some decent players in Hauf, Smith, Bear, Gropp, Fabbro, Kolesar and of course Barzal.

I think Barzal will be a 2 year guy.

Yup he definately will only be a 2 year guy. But hopefully for Seattle fans, the fact that Barzal signed and will be there for possibly only 2 years will have paved the way for others great young players to commit and join the team... Pretty much hopefully this will be a huge domino effect for years

Somewhere around the 5'11 - 170lb mark. Not a huge guy but not small either.

Not sure he is as dynamic as Drouin right now, could be in a few years, but I think hes more of a setup guy, but can finish too.

Drouin just has sick hands, not sure if Barzal is quite there.

imo, barzal looks like a far better prospect than drouin did...we'll see.

Did Ryan Gropp confirmed that he will play next season with the T-Birds yet?

Nope.. not yet unfortunately. Those 2 would be an UNBELIEVABLE 1-2 punch for a couple years until they get drafted high in 2015 draft and move on to NHL... Barzal has been trying to recruit him like crazy though from what I've heard.... Barzals opening line should be..."hey, #1 reason why you should sign in Seattle, Ill make you a multimillionaire in 3 years" hahaha. Rumors are that Ryan wants to play in Seattle, but his dad is pushing extremely hard for him to go NCAA(Ryans dad and uncle both played NCAA and the family is HUGE on education)
