I'm 4-1 despite having the 6th lowest total points. The 5 teams who have scored fewer points than me have combined for a 5-20 record, and one of those wins was this week between two of those teams playing each other.
On another note, I didn't realize we had playoffs set to "none." That certainly makes for a different flavor.

Got knocked off the internet for about a week. I managed to get on through some open wifi with some effort saturday night to set my lineup, and I check it later when I get my internet back and I was pleased that my optimal score matched my actual score for once... but I still got blown the **** out.

But I seem to have acquired a team of one-shot wonders, sure fire studs who have gone dud, and assorted nobodies.
Is it too early to think about trades for next years draft picks?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your team isn't even that good on paper.... Cam Newton did good things as a rookie QB, but he didn't/doesn't get enough TD's to warrant a staring fantasy spot (at least in my book)

Only projected to lose by 26 this week and I already picked up 5 more points than I was supposed to. I really really need Jennings back and Moore/Sproles to be past the bye week. I'm rolling with no defense this week and still have 0 points on my bench.

Well its not like theres much depth left in the free agent pool. With 16 teams, even with our short benches, its cannibalized to hell and back. And I picked Green because reports say he's gonna get first shot at the RB1 job for the time being, so I went with him.
Basicalyl every move I make at this point is trying to lose another damned underperformer and hope some waiver wire one hit wonder starts to string together a few decent weeks.
Dont worry, I'm sure at least half of my guys will perform at 50% or less of their projected values, and you'll get at least a couple players on your team that put up video game numbers this week. That's how it's gone every week but one for me so far this year.

See? What did I tell you. Fitz dropped a deuce, Hartline laid a big fat goose egg... Garcon was out again so I had to throw in Hawkins, and even Akers was kinda useless today.
The only players that have actually shown up so far are Dez Bryant (god, about effing time he gets some TD's), and the Falcons Defense. And theres a bug with yahoo thats screwing up Dez Bryants numbers so my team looks like 25 points worse than it actually is.
I think we need longer benches, perhaps shorter rosters. If we can get more people involved, we could split the league too, so the player pool would not be so depleted by adding extra bench slots. 4 bench slots is simply not enough. I would very much like to see 6 bench plus 1 IR. If we have the same size league next year, we could perhaps shrink the roster by one slot (probably a WR slot), and expand the bench to at least 5 and an injured reserve.
And count me in with those who want WR/RB/TE flex.
