So happy they fixed the matchmaking for EASHL, it took so long to find a game sometimes and once you got passed 330 4AM EST you couldn't find one at all even though there are clubs out there to play. Team is now 97-17-3 Ranked 29 All time when I got off last night!

Idk what peak hours are I'm assuming like 6-9 PM est? But for whatever reason the servers were having a hard time matching anyone at all. It also seems that this year they really tried to make it so that each team has the same number of players regardless of whether you have match club size on or not, as well as playing a team with similair host. I don't think I've come across a team in Europe yet even while playing til 530 6AM, and the way the host has been I don't think we have played a team with a west coast host yet either. If you are playing with a lot of guys at those hours you are most likely going to play some of the top clubs because thats when they play, the later you get the more you will see on.

Need some input on a GM connect deal I'm contemplating:

I (Flyers) was offered

Byfuglien
B. Little
T. Enstrom

for

Couturier
Mezsaros
Briere

After one exchange, we dropped Briere and Enstrom--I didn't need that many defenseman.

The rest of the roster is basically as it stands in the game--I got Nabokov for Kubina, but otherwise, not much movement.

I'm having second thoughts because of Byfuglien's speed (80), but he brings a big, RH shot.

Thoughts?

Is there any way to "mute all" on EASHL?

I might just pay to unlock boosts. It'll depend on how much it costs. I don't really have the time to spend on BAP to unlock that crap.

Yeah, it's the skating boosts I'm most interested in. I accelerate a little slower than a slug in mud.

I did some tweaking and I'm at 72 OVR for my Superstar 2 Playmaker Center and man I can move right now. My speed isn't even over 80 (my acceleration is though I think).

Added you to the club but I have a few tip based on today's games

1. Since you are playing right wing, try to stay on the right side. I don't know how many times you were over in the left corner chasing pucks

2. Try not to chase the puck so much

3. Trust the computer players in the offensive zone.. Calling for the puck when you and a computer player are behind the net rarely ever gives a completed pass

4. It's not NHL 12, so don't try to deke and skate through 3 players.

Anyone have an Xbox team that needs a positionally sound, not completely embarrassing defenseman?

Holy **** NHL is frustrating as hell. The amount of BS the AI gets away with is making me destroy things in my room. I may need to return this game.

Ahh you did your GM mode without the roster update.

My GM mode is going well. After 3 years with the Flyers, I won the Stanley cup the first year and got eliminated in the first round the next two years and the Phantoms won the Calder Cup in the first year and then lost in the Calder Cup the next two years.
