The OT Non-Ski Resort - Ironing Edition

Aaand continue.

I'm a sucker for stupid funny stuff. Some people think it's just dumb and don't find it funny at all, meanwhile I'm laughing my *** off. Here's an example.

SILENCE! Pick Carey Price and I Kill you.

Yes. We had a party to celebrate. Although in a weird coincidence, no females attended.

The only thing we learned is that 'female' and 'problems' are synonymous.

I did not know that about Cranbrook.
It looked like a pretty decent sized town with more to do than Fernie, especially in the summer.
You really have to live there to get a clearer picture.

When I went to Fernie, I ran into 3 teenagers who were piss drunk.
The next morning, I found beer bottles at the courthouse, and after a little while, I saw an addiction agency.
That just gave me a pretty poor impression.

It is not a fair impression since I was there for only a night, but I was really surprised by what I saw
.

And those 3 drunk teenagers were probably kids of the local cops and Judge..lol.

Just driving through Cranbrook it would appear there is alot to do, but the nightlife is horrible and shopping prices are very inflated.

Fernie's setting is very beautiful being surronded by the Rockies and the ski hill looking down on the town, it used to be a very sleepy little place untill the Aussie's found it, they are very friendly people and it helps the town's image alot.

Let me know if your coming through again, i will show you around a bit..

Thanks, bud.

We found the kitty this morning sleeping under 4 or 5 layers of blanket in the cage. Not sure how that would be physically feasible for 6 hours of sleep, but the kitty is in good health and sleeping right now as it probably had a rough ride last night.

Good to hear.
How did it end up under 4 to 5 layers of blankets?

We put a folded up blanket in the cage to sleep on, the only reasonable explanation I have as of now for how it got there undetected is that it is a cat.

Cats are sneaky...
And flexible.
At least it was safe the whole time.

Speaking of sneaky animals...
I saw a raccoon crossing the road...
Using a crosswalk.

I was really impressed.
Who knew animals are smarter than people sometimes?

Raccoons don't have money to pay fines. If I were one, I wouldn't risk getting caught jaywalking either.

A drunk crew member on a boat I was on did the same thing once. We were about to call a mayday because we thought he went overboard when someone physically pushed down on his bed and he came up out of the hoard of blankets swearing.

Devastated Ichiro is a Yankee.

First Nash to the Lakers, Weber to the Flyers, and now Ichiro to the Yankees.

This summer isn't great for my sports fandom, I also cheer for Arsenal in the PL, who are likely to lose RVP this summer.

What a bummer.

Indeed. *sigh* And Wilshere's injury situation just keeps dragging on and on and on...
