This could be an awesome deal, it could be an even deal. Nash better be ready to get $hit done! We lose some serious depth I think...

Ain't that the truth. But he's only 28, is a very talented player who finally has a reason to give 110% every night.

Biggest winners are the NYR fans in the Trade Board Nash threads. So happy that BS is over.

Hagelin, Nash, and Pyatt can PK. Kreider can be taught.

Solid package, can't say I'm terribly surprised. It hurts losing Erixon, but you got to give to get. We still need to address a triggerman for this team.

We also need to bring in depth players, but good trade.

Hi All,

Fox Sports Ohio did a "Summer Tour" thing last year where they followed some of the players including Nash.

See the following links:

http://video.bluejackets.nhl.com/vid...=702&id=124144

Fourth one is a sit down interview with Nash.

Woo! I like this deal! Good job Slats!

I'll admit though, a bit sad to see Erixon go...I do think he'll be a very good 2nd pairing guy, but he was expendable due to our depth at the position. I expected Dubi and Arty to go...happy because those were the two I felt absolutely fine giving up off our current roster.

It seems as though Sather stood firm on Dubinsky and Anisimov as the two main pieces. Who knows if Erixon was originally a part of the deal or not, but if it took him in there to sway Howson to say yes, it's an obvious move to make.

Ah, I can not wait for next season. I like Nash a lot, and even though I am a bit scared of that huge cap hit, I am very excited to see 61 in blue.

Nash is already penciled in on the Rangers on nhl.com

They were all standing around waiting for something.

It's great that we have Kreider to mentor Nash on what the playoffs are like.

What are our third and fourth lines now? Could have been worse I guess.

Suppose I have to embrace it...but wow we have some bad depth. Miller, Thomas, whoever, come on down.

Rarely is a Cup won in one offseason. Deadline deals solidify.

Erixon cost two 2nd rounders. Dubinsky and Artie were low 2nd rounders. The 1st should be a low pick.
