With reports of looting in places like Bowness this is a real possibility. If it isn't the police then quite likely another security company of some sort.

Damn diploma's are completely optional now throughout the city. That's actually crazy considering how important they are.

As this is the OT thread I'm posting a random twitter picture that made me smile a bit, as it has many cutes.

It's not only downtown. I work on the Runway Project at the airport... we're shut down indefinitely because of our water consumption, quite understandably.

I really have nowhere else to put this, but I was just thinking it would be really cool if we were able to get Vinny Lecavalier out of Tampa.

We could somehow put Lance (Bouma), Knight and Lecavalier together to have the joust line. Two minutes for spearing!

We'd probably get assets given to us as compensation.

More bad news. There was a train derailment this morning near the Calf Robe bridge. Looks like the tracks gave way due to the height of the Bow River and the train just fell right off the tracks. It's suspected to be carrying petroleum diesel. Deerfoot is shut down so... this might be too late for some of you but maybe we can keep tabs on it anyways?

Stay safe out there guys.

Why would the city return to business as usual without first looking to see if the infrastructure has integrity?

It's a federal bridge operated by CP - so the City would have no involvement.

The infrastructure was most likely fine - it's the soil / bank stability that's the issue. They had a loaded train sitting on it during the flood (as they've been doing for hundreds of years) without issue.

Hopefully nothing explodes or drops into the river - both very serious and potentially catastrophic damages.

Some people like shows about magic ponies.

I don't see the harm.

I remember that.

Anyways, Bylsma is the head coach for Team USA at Sochi. I now feel better as a Canadian.

I think that the people who flaunt it and shove it in your face are probably being ironic, but as far as I know there are quite a few adult males who genuinely enjoy watching cartoon, and this one in particular.
