Who do you guys think will make team Canada? I think chemistry will play a big part like it did the last time, as will guys who are physical. I could honestly see something like the following:

J. Staal - Crosby - E. Staal
Carter - Stamkos - Richards
Getzlaf - Tavares - Perry
Hall - Toews - Eberle

Anybody even know anybody who's getting an Xbox One? Sounds like it might be a massive flop already.
I'll be getting an xbone most likely. Nothing against ps4, and if xbox didnt change the DRM policy i would get a ps4 instead. Im a sucker for halo and forza, but i wont be getting a new system for a while after they come out.

Hmm interesting i think it will be more like:

Neal - Crosby - E.Staal
St.Louis - Stamkos - Hall
Getzlaf - Tavares - Perry
Bergeron - Toews - Giroux

Lots of centers there but they should be able to play the wing imo. If neal has a bad season he's probably out. Iggy might have a shot if he lights it up, and also as this years lifetime achievement member.

Defense probably looks like:
Keith - Seabrook
Letang - Subban
Pietroangelo - Weber

Or something along those lines. The olympics really makes me realize how much young canadian talent there is. Goalies is anyones guess although i would like to see luongo there.

I can't believe I forgot Giroux. Personally I would think Doughty would be better than Letang. Hell Bouwmeester would be better than Letang after seeing his playoff performance.

I would think Price gets the nod over Loungo, but who knows.

I actually forgot about doughty as well. Not big on letang either, but i still think he makes the team. If i would have to guess seabrook and keith would be locks. Subban probably is as well even though I dont like it. And weber should be.

Isn't the new Xbox the one with the controversial DRM policy? Not the PS4?

Oops that was supposed to say if they hadnt changed the DRM policy. What i was trying to say is that if microsoft hadnt taken out their need to connect to the internet once every 24 hours and the no sharing games i wouldn't get it. But as far as I know its all been taken out.

Fixed the other one. That was a terribly checked comment by me ugh...

Bleh.
It is so hot right now, and I have no AC.
It's quarter to 1 and it's already 33șC at my house.
Okanagan summers are torture.

How is it in Alberta?

Hope Perry doesn't make the TC.

For defense, this is mine:

Keith-Seabrook
Pietrangelo-Weber
Subban-Doughty
Hamhuis

So... this is pretty cool.

http://globalnews.ca/news/707496/big...-interstellar/

Quote:
TORONTO — A collection of A-list stars are heading to Alberta next month to work on director Christopher Nolan’s latest film.

Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine and Casey Affleck star in Interstellar, a sci-fi flick that explores physicist Kip Thorne’s theories of gravity fields and wormholes.

The movie re-teams Nolan with his The Dark Knight Rises stars Hathaway and Caine.

Cameras are scheduled to roll in and around Calgary — including the town of Okotoks — from August 6 to September 9.

The movie is due to open in cinemas on November 7, 2014.

Interstellar will be a return to Alberta for Hathaway, who starred in Brokeback Mountain.

Scenes for Nolan’s 2010 movie Inception were filmed at Kananaskis Village.

Kinda on topic (for an OT thread)...

I would love to see Detroit be involved in movie settings. Or maybe the setting for the Walking Dead. There is something creepy, eerie, and fascinating about Detroit, as seen here:

Reportedly, the city is already doing exactly that as a way to raise funds.

The Sun had a thing on Detroit a couple days ago. Steadily been losing population, down 63% since 1950, 40% of street lights don't work, 78,000 abandoned buildings, 66% of ambulances are out of commission, an hour average wait for police to respond to calls, average household income $27,862.

I know the dollar goes quite a bit farther in some parts of the USA, but yikes....

Detroit is quite sad really. You can buy houses there for around 50 bucks.

Harrisburg is also having some major money issues . They were once very close to filing for bankruptcy (and still are still in 345 million dollars of debt).
